Ababis Guestfarm is located at the foot of the Naukluft mountains. The Naukluft is a paradise for hiking. There are also exciting hiking trails on the farm. We provide a large number of well
marked and maintained trails. For example, you can hike our local mountain, the Zipfelberg (see photo), and enjoy the magnificent view over the savannah and its surrounding mountains.
Other activities, such as Horse riding, trekking-tours, sightseeing flights and balloon rides are possible in the neighbourhood. We are pleased to organize this for you.
Hiking
On our farm and in the nearby Namib-Naukluft-Park there are a large number of hiking trails to the hidden treasures of the Naukluft mountains. The well marked and maintained trails are of different levels, that you can explore.
Sossusvlei
From Ababis you can make a day trip to the famous Sossusvlei, one of the scenic highlights of Namibia, this includes the Dead Vlei and Sesriem Canyon.

Enjoy the desert from above! We would be happy to organize sightseeing flights with a 6-seater Cessna, which is located very close by. There is also a hot-air balloon, which is now stationed
nearby.
